Untitled #16 "Bulletproof" Series

The poster is created in connection with the exhibition "Bulletproof," Vee Speers' second exhibition at Fotografiska, which took place in 2015. Appropriately, this collection of images is somewhat of a continuation of her previous work. Many of the children who were featured in her first exhibition, "The Birthday Party," are in the photographs, but this time they are older. In this poster, we once again see how Vee Speers incorporates her daughters into her photography. "Bubble girl" has grown up and now looks more rebellious. Her hairstyle has changed from the traditional beehive to a more modern mohawk, and her glass bubble has been replaced with a megaphone.
