Jonas Bendiksen never sets out with a plan. To do so, would undermine the open nature of his creative impulse and process. In Berlin, he struck out on foot, letting his instincts be his guide, opening himself up to spontaneous moments of inspiration: a figure glimpsed through a pane of fractured glass, an explosion of feeding birds, the glow of a streetlight on a graffiti covered wall. For Bendiksen, these moments are found treasures, small stories that tell you everything about a place.
