HOLLYWOODLAND Poster

This poster image and design from Fotografiska New York's 2024 exhibition of the artist's first photography show, Phases, shows a moody Los Angeles shot of the famous real estate signage taken from afar, framed - almost like a film set - between a shadowy dark avenue of palm trees. The birth site of so many dream worlds is rendered ominously, almost vaprously in this photograph, its particle dot matrix asserting itself in the print as if the reality of the place is evaporating before our eyes. The artist's signature letter banner design surmounts the image, suggesting something not quite set in time or in space.
