Azaleas (Pressing) Poster

This poster image reproduction of Cig Harvey's work, "Azaleas (Pressing)"" is from Fotografiska's 2024 exhibition Human/Nature. The photographer frequently focuses on floral subjects, but as implicit presentations of deeper human themes such as mortality, passion, and loss. Her color saturated works evoke heightened states of aesthetic sensuality, urgency, rapture and healing. This image of azaleas sweatily framed under condensation of their own making seems to melt in its own ecstatic florescence. Harvey has written, "time is the only currency." Her imagery is an urgent call to live.
